We hosted a Winter Coding Camp for students who have completed Algebra 1 and older. Participants were introduced to Java, and had the opportunity to ask questions and learn about careers in computer science with an experienced software engineer. The camp was sponsored by KSEA (Korean-American Scientists and Engineers Association). We proudly donated $650 to the Idaho Foodbank which is able to pay for 1900 meals throughout Idaho.

For our summer fundraising event, our club members decided to raise money by selling donkatsu (돈까스), a delicious Korean pork cutlet style that originated in Japan, to the Boise community. Due to the overwhelming positive feedback from our initial pork cutlet sale, we decided to recreate this successful event. This time, we raised an impressive $1,020, which was donated to the Idaho CATCH (Charitable Assistance to the Community’s Homeless) organization.
